Ingredients
- 200 g self raising flour
- 2 teas baking powder
- 25 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1 egg and enough milk to make up 150 ml
Method
- Mix sugar and butter then add the egg plus milk and finally add the flour and BP
- Mix altogether and knead with hands.*
- Spread flour on surface and place the mixture in the middle and roll out 1 cm deep.
- Cut into round circles and cook in oven for 25 mins at 170 degrees.
* (To make the lazy raisin buns, add a small cup full of raisins to the mixture whilst kneading and, instead of rolling the mixture out, make tangerine-size balls of dough with your hands and place on a baking dish and cook for 25 mins).
